The Kri-Kri, also known as the Cretan goat or Agrimi, is a wild goat found in Crete. It has lived there since the time of the Minoan civilization. The Minoans were fascinated by these goats
and often depicted them in their art. Unlike other animals in Minoan scenes, the Kri-Kri
doesn't seem to have religious significance. Instead, the focus is on the joy of hunting and
appreciation for the animal. Sadly, it's now endangered and only lives in a few protected
places, like the Samaria Gorge National Park and three offshore islands of Crete.
