HERA

THE QUEEN FOR GLAMOUR

Hera: The queen. Imposing and proud like her favorite animal, the peacock, she enjoyed the glamour of being Zeus’ wife.

HERA was daughter of the Titans Cronus and Rhea. Goddess of marriage, family, and childbirth, she was the queen of heaven and Gods. Hera had many children with her brother and husband Zeus, amongst them, the Olympians Ares and Hephaestus. Known for her beauty, she was also a very jealous goddess. Patroness and protectress of married women, she enjoyed persecuting her husband's lovers and their illegitimate children, amongst them demigod Heracles. She is usually depicted with a crown on her head, holding a royal, lotus- tipped sceptre.

Roman name: Juno

The PEACOCK is a symbol of grandeur, pride and charm.

The peacock became Hera’s favorite animal when she placed on it the hundred eyes of her faithful guardian Argos, who was killed by Hermes, on the orders of Zeus. Every time you wear the peacock, you will feel the greatness of your existence. You will enhance your reputation, charm and role among people.
