My God

Hephaestus was the God of fire, forge and volcanoes. He was also the craftsman of the gods, inventor, protector of artisans, and the constructor of all palaces, thrones and weapons of the Gods on mount Olympus. The son of Zeus and Hera, from his birth he experienced abandonment, expulsion and contempt. Although he was the only ugly god and lame, he was married to the prettiest Goddess of all Aphrodite, who wasn’t so faithful to him. He represents the inner flame, which, with hard work, can transform ugliness into inspiring creations. He is depicted as a beardy man, sometimes riding a donkey and holding a hammer.
