THE GOD

Apollo, the God of sun and light, son of Zeus and Leto, and twin brother of Artemis, was born on the island of Delos. He founded the oracle of Delphi, becoming the God of divination. Representing moral and divine laws, he symbolized puraification and perfection, in both spiritual and physical realms. Apollo was the patron of all fine arts, a healing deity, and protector of young boys. He was also the first God seduced by people of the same gender, depicted as a handsome, beardless young man with long hair. The lyre, a stringed musical instrument considered the national instrument of ancient Greece, was crafted by Hermes from a turtle shell and animal entrails. He presented it to Apollo as a gift, seeking forgiveness for stealing his oxen. Wearing Apollo’s lyre inspires new, original ideas full of light and inspiration, fostering youthfulness, energy, and creativity while enhancing mental and physical health. It promotes the pursuit of perfection in both skills and harmony in life, captivating others with a radiant personality.
